Construction Update #2

As of today all the major services are installed, both mains and to individual pads: sewer, water, gas. Electrical and communications conduit are going in next. The foundation for the amenity building is ready to pour concrete and then the framing can start. The sewer lift station will be delivered on Tuesday. Although a tremendous amount of work has been done, looking at the site there's little to show for it just because it's all underground. C'est la vie.

A major delay is BC Hydro for electrical. Obviously we can't open until we have power, and it looks like that won't happen until late August. Our part of the electrical installation will be done long before that; the delay is waiting for service from the street. We're going to try to meet with them and see if there's anything that can be done to speed that up.

In the meantime we can't accept reservations until we know we will be open.

Anyone who writes in, is put on our customer list and will be notified as soon as things change. We will also continue to post updates on the website.

Thanks for all the interest. We get dozens of inquiries every week, all wishing us well. Thank you for that. It means a lot.
