Construction Update

The old Westbay has been completely razed and the two First Nations are starting from scratch to rebuild it. The old Westbay has been completely razed and the two First Nations are starting from scratch to rebuild it. We are reducing the number of pads to 36, they are now truly big rig friendly, building a brand new amenity building with upstairs meeting room with decks and fireplace, supplying 50 amp service, and best of all the wifi is going to work. The new office will be at the end of Head Street in the newly renovated historic Guardhouse. We've built a new driveway entrance just south of the Guardhouse with an easy grade and turn designed for the biggest of Rigs.

Unfortunately, we will not be taking reservations until we know for sure when we will be finished and can be absolutely sure we can meet our commitments to you. Our biggest fear is disappointing guests. We aren't going to open until we're finished-finished. We had hoped to open in July but truthfully August is more likely. Prices will go up, but we haven't worked out the rate list yet and are probably a month away from that and maybe a bit more.

We are working hard to get the website up and running properly. Our intention is to regularly post updates and we'll broadcast alerts to people who have previously inquired when we do. Please post your email to the website and stay tuned. We're full bore on the construction, pipes are going in the ground and we're just waiting for the building permit to be approved to get started on the building.

We'll be worth the wait. Honest!
